Description
MINT / New Old Stock (NOS) c. 1969 Evergreen Club News (Vol. IV, No. 5) — Pristine Deadstock Condition! Up for sale is an uncommonly preserved, museum-grade piece of late-1960s underground literary history: an original issue of the Evergreen Club News (Volume IV, Number 5), published by Barney Rosset's legendary Grove Press. This identical catalog was distributed exclusively via mail to members of their progressive avant-garde book club. This specific piece is a true time-capsule survivor. It was found safely tucked away flat inside a hardback book where it remained undisturbed for over 50 years. It looks as crisp today as the day it left the press.
