MZ Austria
60.00 $
Description
This elegant 3 piece porcelain berry set was manufactured by Moritz Zdekauer in Altrohlau, Austria, dating between 1884 and 1909. The set features one master serving bowl and two matching smaller individual berry dishes, all uniquely formed in mold number 1044 with a striking scalloped, leaf-like embossed design. The crisp white porcelain centers are highlighted by minimalist hand-painted gold branch and dot star accents, framed by a soft sage green ombre gradient finish along the ruffled edges. The undersides bear the stamped green MZ Austria double-headed imperial eagle factory mark, alongside an incised mold number and hand-written artisan numbering. A beautiful, delicate representation of late Victorian tableware that brings historical charm to any modern home or display cabinet.
