This is a Goshuincho (temple/shrine stamp book) dynamically depicting the Kanrin Maru crossing the Pacific Ocean, inspired by the historical event of Katsu Kaishu performing a fasting ritual at Higashi Kanno Shrine before his trip to America.
The size is approximately 18cm x 12cm, which is one size larger than standard.
