Measurement Method:
① Slowly insert the hydrometer into the water tank (remove air bubbles).
② Remove air bubbles attached to the scale.
③ Once the water is full, lift the hydrometer (excess water will drain).
④ Read the specific gravity according to the scale, and read the salinity (PPT) according to the horizontal scale. The safe range is between 1.020 and 1.023.
⑤ Rinse with pure water after each use.
⑥ If salt crystals form, soak in lukewarm water or diluted vinegar for about 30 minutes and then rinse.
