[Material and Design]
Silicone rubber offers superior heat and cold resistance compared to organic rubber. It shows almost no change in properties at 150℃ and can be used semi-permanently. It's characterized by its reddish-brown color, close to the original. It is durable.
I personally own about 20 Thermos water bottles from different eras, and I've tried fitting these gaskets on each one. They felt a bit stiff at first, but they gradually softened and conformed. They also washed perfectly fine in the dishwasher.
