Description
This is Koike Farm in Habikino City, Osaka Prefecture.
We are offering 2.5kg of Taro taro seed potatoes. This time, it includes 30 sprouted seed potatoes with soil attached. We will ship via RakuRaku Mercari便 (easy Mercari shipping) in an 80-size box.
Koike Farm planted these on May 16th.
The taro variety Taro (土垂?ドタレ) is grown for its corms (child and grandchild tubers).
The parent tubers of Taro have a strong astringent taste and are not edible.
This time, we are listing the child tubers of Taro as seed potatoes.
It's okay if the leaves wilt or dry out during shipping. New sprouts will emerge once planted and watered.
Dig a hole and plant the seed potato at the bottom. As it grows, gradually mound soil around it. This allows for deeper planting.
