Description
This is a set of aquatic plants suitable for medaka (Japanese killifish) ponds and biotopes. They are delivered planted in pots, so you can place them directly into plastic ponds or similar environments to grow.

Myriophyllum guianense 'Dwarf'
An aquatic plant with small, delicate leaves.

Variegated Centella asiatica
A variegated variety of Centella asiatica, which is also native to Japan. It primarily grows on moist land but can also grow in submerged conditions.

Houttuynia cordata 'Goshiki'
Houttuynia cordata typically grows on land, but it can also grow in submerged conditions, making it suitable for biotopes. This variety features beautiful red and yellow variegation.

Sagittaria trifolia
An aquatic plant with spoon-shaped leaves. It also produces cute white flowers.

Ranunculus inundatus
A unique aquatic plant with deeply cut leaves. It produces cute yellow flowers in spring.

Equisetum hyemale 'Mizutokusa'
A small horsetail that prefers waterside environments. It grows straight stems with nodes.

Dwarf Amazon Frogbit
A hardy floating plant with cute, round leaves that float on the water surface. The roots can also serve as a spawning substrate for medaka. This is a floating plant and is not planted in a pot.

All plants are in 2.5-inch (7.5 cm) pots. The soil is Akadama soil with a small amount of zeolite. Both Akadama soil and zeolite are commonly used as substrate for medaka. A small amount of slow-release fertilizer is included at the bottom of the pot. These plants are grown without pesticides.

These plants were cultivated in plastic ponds containing medaka and goldfish. Please be aware that snails (such as Ramshorn snails) and other aquatic organisms like floating plants and green algae may be mixed in.

We will ship via Kuroneko Yamato, size 80.
Please note that taller plants may be slightly bent to fit into the box.
