Grenningloh German Pewter Hunting Plates Waidmannsheil Rifles Set of 2

Vintage set of two Grenningloh German pewter decorative hunting plates featuring a traditional Waidmannsheil motif. Each plate has a detailed relief scene with crossed hunting rifles, target, hunting horn, and woodland elements surrounded by a broad border of raised oak leaves and acorns. “Waidmanns Heil,” the traditional German hunting greeting meaning good hunting or hunter’s luck, appears beneath the central design. The reverse carries Grenningloh’s distinctive interlocking diamond touchmarks and visible circular manufacturing lines. These coordinating plates have an aged pewter patina with minor surface wear from previous display and handling. An attractive pair for a collection of German Zinn, hunting memorabilia, lodge décor, or traditional European pewter.
