Featuring a classic cobalt blue-and-white spatterware (spongeware) salt-glaze finish, this piece combines traditional American folk art style with everyday kitchen utility. The unglazed base is hand-inscribed with the BBP makers mark and the year 1996. Condition: Excellent vintage-style condition with a smooth, glossy spatter finish and a traditional stilt-marked base. Food Use & Care: Hand wash only. Microwave and oven safe to 425 degrees Fahrenheit. To avoid breakage from thermal shock, do not take from refrigerator or freezer and put in oven.
