【Traditional Craft】Hida Shunkei Lacquerware Jubako (with "Fuku" and "Ju" carvings)

This is a jubako (tiered food box) featuring Hida Shunkei lacquerware, a traditional craft from Gifu Prefecture.

It's an elegant masterpiece that highlights the characteristic lustrous sheen of Shunkei lacquer, which allows the golden color of the wood to show through, and the beautiful grain of the natural wood.

The sides are adorned with auspicious characters like 福 (Fuku - good fortune) and 寿 (Ju - longevity), and the lid features sophisticated carved designs, making it perfect not only for New Year's Osechi cuisine but also for celebrations and entertaining guests.

[Product Condition]
• The interior is in very clean condition, with the lacquer's gloss well-preserved.
• Made from natural wood, it has a pleasant feel and can be used for a long time.
• Due to the nature of natural wood and lacquerware, there are some slight unevennesses in the lacquer on the inner bottom and marks from storage. These are only visible under certain lighting conditions, so please refrain from purchasing if you are looking for a perfect item. We are offering it at a lower price because of this.
