【Beautiful Condition】Black Lacquer Maki-e Floral Design Sweet Plate Set (1 Large Plate, 5 Small Plates)
50.16 $
Description
An elegant set of dishes featuring a beautiful black lacquer with delicate maki-e (sprinkled gold powder) of floral motifs (resembling bamboo grass and rice stalks).
The set includes one large central plate and five small plates.
There is a signature mark (red seal), and research suggests the design is related to the Japanese painter Takeuchi Seiho.
(Please note: This is not guaranteed to be an authentic work, so please consider it as a piece of craftsmanship.)
The gold accents stand out against the glossy black surface, making it a visually stunning item for serving Japanese sweets, as side dishes, or for guests.
Recommended for New Year's celebrations and entertaining occasions.
