Vintage Castle Creations Christmas Horse Sleigh Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvas

This vintage Castle Creations hand painted needlepoint canvas has one of the most charming Christmas scenes in this group—a delightfully chubby white horse trotting along with a holiday sleigh full of bundled-up passengers and presents. The wonderfully plump horse wears a festive evergreen wreath with red berries and pulls a warm brown sleigh decorated with a red heart. Four rosy-cheeked riders are tucked inside among colorful packages, while a Christmas tree rises from the back of the sleigh. The elongated horizontal composition would be especially attractive finished as a Christmas pillow, framed wall hanging or seasonal textile piece. The original Castle Creations – Hand Painted Needlepoint Canvases label remains attached.
