Hand Knotted Fillet Lace Table Runner Piano Scarf Cream Vintage Linens  fillet lace runner. maple leaf pattern in the center. soft cram color. after checking carefully, there seems to be 2 net squares that are broken. there may be more that i missed but i did check closely. no stains noticed. seems like a cotton material. 34x17  fillet lace is made on handmade net, he net is made by the lacemaker hand tying a knot to make a square. once the net is finished, the lacemaker can weave a pattern.  this was purchased at middleboro antique co-op as part of a lot dating from 1920-1960. this piece would have been very popular in the early 1900s, dating this to the 1920s.  from a smoke free, child & pet loving home. all sales are final.
