Vintage Chilean Hand Painted Pottery Pitcher Inca Folk Art Signed P. Miller

Beautiful vintage hand-painted pottery pitcher from Chile, measuring approximately 6” tall. The underside is incised “P. Miller P. Chile” and retains an older paper label referencing “Inca Local 1350–1500.” The piece has a wonderful rustic, archaeological-inspired appearance with a bulbous body, narrow neck, thick loop handle and hand-painted geometric decoration in earthy terracotta, tan, brown and black tones. The aged, textured surface gives it lots of character. A distinctive piece of Chilean / South American folk pottery, perfect for a pottery collection, rustic interior, Southwestern-inspired decor, or displayed as a small decorative vessel. Condition: Vintage condition with surface wear, spotting, variations and imperfections consistent with handmade pottery and age. Please review photos closely. No claims are made that this is an actual pre-Columbian/Inca artifact; it appears to be a later decorative piece inspired by traditional designs. Size: Approximately 6” tall.
