A salt-glazed Japanese teapot/Dobin is finished with a textured, salt glaze. This unique glazing process creates a distinctive dimpled texture and rustic charm, while providing excellent heat retention and durability. This Dobin has a strainer in the spout uses a built-in filter at the base of the spout. This allows loose leaves or blooming flowers to steep freely in the pot while preventing them from flowing into your cup as you pour. Measures about 4H x 5 1/2 Diameter not including spout.
