We have imported a blanket box, also known as a coffer, from the UK, believed to have been made around 1930. In Britain, these were traditionally placed at the foot of a bed to store blankets. This piece would be useful for storing linens or as a toy box for children. Although it shows its age, it has been maintained and can be used as everyday furniture.
