Description
Made in Japan during the 1940s or 50s it features a popular moss – rose floral motif, characterized by P!nk or burgundy rosebuds with green foliage. It's a footed oval shaped porcelain box with matching lid. The lid in base have distinctive, gold, accented, ruffle rim the handle on the lid is shaped like a bow or loop. The trivets are approximately 4 1/4 inches in length by 3 1/4 inches with the same moss rose and embellishments and gold trimming. All three pieces are an excellent shape no cracking no chipping no crazing they are very beautiful set
