Washi Paper Collage Shikishi "Climbing Carp" Lucky Charm, Finished Product, Handmade, Collage, Chigirie

Thank you for viewing!
(⁎ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈⁎)

This is a handmade hari-e (paper collage) shikishi (art board) carefully crafted by layering Japanese paper.
It depicts a powerful carp ascending a waterfall. From the ancient tale of Toryumon (Dragon Gate), the climbing carp is a highly auspicious motif symbolizing success in life, prosperity in business, and long life and good health. The warmth unique to three-dimensional hari-e, along with the splashing water expressed through vibrant colors and the soft fibers of Japanese paper, are also highlights.

■ We have replaced paints with a rich variety of Japanese papers to express the texture of the fibers like a painting. This is a handmade piece, carefully layered and finished by hand, one by one, over time. Please purchase after confirming the details in the photos and understanding this. (The shikishi may have slight warping, but it will not be noticeable when framed.)

■ The price includes shipping.
We will ship via YuYu Mercari便 (anonymous shipping).
We will take care to pack it carefully to prevent it from breaking or bending during transit.

■ This is an unused item, but it is offered at a reduced price due to long-term storage.

■ A frame is not included.

■ Please note that the color may vary slightly depending on your browser or device.

■ Shikishi size: 272 x 242 mm
