Vintage 1987 New Bright The Old Smokey Express Railroad Company Battery Operated Locomotive, Model No. 2145, in its original display box. This classic train features smoke action, a working headlight, authentic locomotive sound, realistic wheel movement, free-wheeling operation, and bump-and-go action. The locomotive is marked D&WFR Denver Express and retains its original Styrofoam insert and display packaging.  The train appears to be in very nice display condition inside the box. It has not been tested and is being sold as untested. Please review all photos carefully for the best representation of the train's condition.  Box Condition:  The original box shows noticeable shelf and storage wear. The most significant damage is a large tear on the right side panel, exposing the Styrofoam insert. There is also edge wear, corner wear, scuffing, small creases, discoloration/water staining on the bottom panel, and a crease across part of the front artwork. Original retail price stickers remain attached to the upper right corner of the box.  A great vintage New Bright train for collectors, display, restoration, or anyone looking to add a nostalgic 1980s battery-operated locomotive to their collection.
