▪️ This iaido sword being listed this time is a custom-made Okuden Shinken-saku ordered from Noushodo, a iaido sword maker in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, for iaido practice and dan promotion examinations.

▪️ Noushodo produces and sells iaido practice swords in four grades. Among them, Okuden Shinken-saku is ranked as the highest grade and is made to specifications closest to a real Japanese sword (shinken).
It takes approximately 6 months for the craftsman to complete.
I purchased it with high-grade custom specifications added to the silver flat maki-e carved family crest, the expertly crafted saya, tsuba, habaki, menuki, kashira, and sageo.

▪️ The Okuden Shinken-saku has no damage to the koiguchi from drawing or sheathing the sword, no nicks on the blade, and no scratches on the blade.
Also, there are no scratches or dirt on the saya from wearing or removing the sword.
Please rest assured that it has been properly maintained.
